Split This Rock Poetry Festival: Venues 2018

Daytime workshops, panels, and readings are held at venues clustered in the Farragut Square neighborhood of downtown DC. The National Housing Center will serve as the festival hub, hosting on-site registration, check-in for pre-registered attendees, featured poet readings, and the book fair. Busboys and Poets will host the evening open mics and The Beacon Hotel, again, serves as the official festival hotel. We are grateful to these organizations for welcoming the festival into their buildings. Check them out below!

The Farragut Square neighborhood is accessible by public transportation and within walking distance to the Farragut North Metro station on the Red Line and McPherson Square, serving the Blue, Orange, and Silver Lines. It is also served by many bus lines. Check out Metro's website and the festival's Getting Here & Getting Around page for more information.

A note on walking distance: The distance between some venues for daytime sessions and/or The Beacon Hotel is 5 blocks, or slightly more. If this distance is inaccessible for you, please contact us as soon as possible and we'll provide information on a closer lodging option. We can be reached at poetryfest@splitthisrock.org or 202-787-5210.
