Where to Stay
Split This Rock: Poems of Provocation & Witness 2018 - Lodging Options
The Beacon Hotel, located at 1615 Rhode Island Avenue NW, Washington DC, is the official hotel for Split This Rock Poetry Festival 2018. We are grateful to the support of the Beacon Hotel! A portion of proceeds from reservations made by Split This Rock guests are donated back to Split This Rock.
To access special discounted festival rates, book your stay at the Beacon Hotel over the phone with Edith Mendoza (202)-787-1784 or by email at emendoza@beaconhotelwdc.com no later than March 28, 2018. Make your reservation early as space is limited and sells out quickly. (Note: The Beacon Hotel is approximately 5 blocks from the festival hub, the National Housing Center. If this distance is inaccessible for you, please contact us as soon as possible and we'll provide information on a closer lodging option. We can be reached at poetryfest@splitthisrock.org or 202-787-5210.)
Washington, D.C. is an expensive city, and we work to make the festival as welcoming and accessible as possible. The resources below include a range of individual and group housing. Please note that listing of these options does not constitute endorsement. We are putting together a switchboard option for attendees to find roommates. If you have concerns about finding accessible lodging, please contact poetryfest@splitthisrock.org.
