Beacon Hotel at 1615 Rhode Island Avenue NW, Washington DC, is the official hotel for Split This Rock Poetry Festival in 2014. Use the link below to get the Split This Rock discount, locking in a rate that is modest compared to area hotels. Reservation Cut-off Date to book preferred rates:  February 25, 2014. A portion of proceeds from Split This Rock Guests will be donated to the festival.

  • DC Lofty - www.dclofty.com. Dorm style "boutique" accomodations in the Convention Center neighborhood, a quick bus ride or nice walk from Farragut Square Neighborhood.
     
  • Find a Bed & Breakfast - www.bedandbreakfastdc.com. Listings are organized by neighborhood. Dupont and Logan Circle B&Bs are close to the Split This Rock festival venues.
     
  • Union Hotels - www.hotelworkersrising.org/HotelGuide. Search Washington, DC, to find hotels that employ members of UNITE HERE, the hotel-workers’ union.
     
  • Youth Hostel - www.hiwashingtondc.org. The DC hostel is Metro-accessible and has a reputation for safety and cleanliness.

We highly recommend taking Metro, DC's subway and bus system. All festival sites are within easy walking distance of the Metro. See our Getting Around page for some help using Metro.
